Curtisia
Cerebral Palsy with Spastic Quadriplegia/ Scoliosis/ Tracheostomy
Just one month into her health journey with us, Curtisia and her family are already celebrating some beautiful little wins. 🌱
Curtisia has faced significant health challenges since birth, including:
Cerebral palsy with spastic quadriplegia
Scoliosis
Dislocated right hip
Gastrostomy (MicKey button)
Tracheostomy
Curtisia was born via an emergency C-section, and due to the severity of her cerebral palsy, she required a feeding tube at just 3 weeks old. Managing her spasticity has included a baclofen pump, along with additional baclofen medication when needed.
While it’s still early in her care, her mom has already noticed some incredible changes. ❤️
✨ Curtisia’s body language is more relaxed.
😌 Her body is less tense and less spastic.
💤 She’s sleeping better.
🤗 Transitions throughout the day have become easier.
💊 Best of all, she hasn’t needed medication for pain.
Sometimes the biggest victories are the little ones. 🌟 Every smile, every restful night, every moment of comfort is a step forward.
We are so grateful to be part of Curtisia’s journey and look forward to celebrating many more milestones with her and her family. 💙🙌
