Stella

Scoliosis/ Muscle Tone/ Sleep/ Seizures/ Digestion

When Stella first began care with us just two months ago, her family was searching for anything that could help improve her quality of life.

Following a drowning accident in 2021 that led to brain surgery, Stella has faced an incredibly complex health journey. She has also undergone foot surgery and continues to receive care from multiple specialists, including Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Endocrinology. She has experienced multiple hospitalizations along the way.

One of Stella’s biggest challenges has been scoliosis, which began progressing about nine months ago due to prolonged time lying down and limited mobility. She undergoes spinal X-rays every six months to monitor its progression. In addition to scoliosis, Stella’s family has been navigating daily seizures (up to four episodes each day), poor sleep, digestive challenges, low muscle tone, and anxiety.

While we know healing takes time, especially in complex neurological cases, we’re encouraged by the progress Stella’s mom has already noticed after just two months of neurologically focused chiropractic care.

✨ Stella seems much more comfortable in her body.
✨ She is sleeping better and enjoying longer, more restful stretches of sleep.
✨ Although there has not yet been a change in her seizure activity, her family is choosing to celebrate every small victory along the way.

Those little wins matter. They build upon one another and remind us that progress isn’t always measured by one symptom—it can also be seen in greater comfort, better rest, and an improved quality of life.

We are honored to be part of Stella’s journey and look forward to continuing to support her and her family every step of the way. 💙
